Always struggling for room I decided to remove a dead tree to where I could put my compost bin and build a bigger, better one in it’s place. But the tree was completely covered in a thick layer of ivy , some of which had to be removed first, which I did and cut the tree down. See photo 1 below.
I’d put the old collapsed bench over the end of my raised ( empty) bed to prevent damage which it did nicely. See my question tomorrow
