I am starting from scratch with a small courtyard city garden in Bath. I am very amateur and not at all brave with gardening. Would love to grow own vegetable and create a beautiful living space outside.

That was last year.... and I got brave and I experimented with growing plants and shrubs. Some I did not expect to lose (clematis) and others I did not expect to see again this year, after the long cold winter like the tender jasmine plant that is still clinging to the wall outside my sitting room window.
