I bought one from TM it cost me 8-50 plus postage and packing, what a disapointment when I opened the package, it was a tiny piece of root which Iplanted with care, everytime a leaf started to grow the Damm Slugs ate it! Its now10 weeks old with 1 and a half leaf and a plastic bottle over it for protection! Just wish it would grow and look like yours;0(

That is exactly why I won't buy anything from T&M. They sell plug plants for the same price as a 2L pot from a Garden Centre! It makes me cross. :-((

I do hope yours thrives, Pp.

I have some astrantis 'venice' this year. It will be interesting to see its true colour. as the advert next to this shows them both but they are different colours.

My 'Shaggy' has a flower open, so I'll post a photo. I like the dark ones, too. :-)))

I havent had any luck with these (astrantia) I think the clay is too heavy and the climate too damp. I bought some in Wisley last year. Maybe I could try some in a pot? I am growing more and more stuff in pots......!
