Yes that's the problem. I have my lilies in pots so I can do what Gnarly gnome suggest tip the old soil out where they hybinate and give them new soil.

We used to have these a few years back....changed the garden so many times, they upped and went!!

I've got white ones as well, but they are not flowering yet.

Nice :-). In your ‘bog’ garden :-)

Not in 'not a bog' the Snakes Head Fritillary' is in quite a sunny place, but rain runs to this area behind the (preformed ) pond. Sarracenia demand a sunny position, although demanding of growing medium, that is damp peaty soil, no nutrients, they get that from their carniverous nature.

Lovely to see the Fritillaries coming up. Ours aren't so advanced as yours Siris.

What else?

See who else is growing Fritillaria meleagris (Snake's head fritillary).

See who else has plants in genus Fritillaria.
