Your so busy with bedding &iv only brought my 6Red Geraniums up2now not even brought any Bedding plants as to yet only the Pansies 4 front Garden&wheel Barrow! I do need 2 buy Some Blue Lobelia & White Alsum do u think B&Q r the best 4 multibuy price ?

30 Apr, 2008

Don't know about B&Q, Jacque. Haven't walked down there this year and think I would be lucky if I could do it this year. 'Tis the other side of town for me. I think Jersy Plants Direct are very good: http://www.jerseyplantsdirect.com. Usually around 160 plants for a tenner and delivery is pretty quick too.

I have seen lobelias on sale on the Wisbech Market, both Thursday and Saturday. I'll check out the prices if I get up there tomorrow.

Please stop the rain .... I want to get out there and transplant some salad leave. The ones on my kitchen window sill are getting long and spikey!

The Showers here has Hale Stones in again ?I want 2 get outside to Ken as iv still stuff to do in garden myself,

30 Apr, 2008

Just dodged outside in between the showers and riddle myself a bucket of compost from one of my bins. Some good stuff in there and loads of worms. Good job Lesley's Faye isn't here!. Now to fill a trough up and put the salad leaves in.

I need to get more radishes and spring onions in too, never mind the other stuff like beetroot.

Oh well, have to be another cuppa.

lol u make me laugh Ken iv visions of u with ur little bucket rushing around trying not 2 get wet bless u :D lol

But I WANT to get out there, Jacque. I NEED to get out there, as I want to get my new toy working and first I have to drill a hole through the walll. Plus I must get some salad stuff sown.

I couldn't get out there when it was good weather as I was suffering!

By the way. Living on my own means I don't get 'man flu', but with my immune system being so low, I seem to get anything within a 5 mile radius!

Now that I am having lunch, the sun has come out, but I bet that big black cloud drops in as soon as I want to get out there.

That be a load of good stuff in that there bin! (Spoken with a broad Norfolk accent! LOL)

lol luv the Your Fake Norfolk Accent Ken lol ;) O by way what are Delft Tiles?

30 Apr, 2008

Ah Well they are those Blue painted/glazed tiles. Usually Dutch scenes like windmills etc. The originals will be expensive, but B&Q may have similar. I think I have seen them at Elses, Leverington Common, Wisbech on the road to Parson Drove. It's a large discount place. Does furniture and all sorts of things.

HTH

Yes i know the place well Ken whats HTH mean ?& uv given me a Great Idea Muddy ;)Cant wait2see what ur new toy is ??? How much longer we2wait ?

30 Apr, 2008

HTH? (H)ope (T)hat (H)elps.

Hopefully, I shall be going to Elses on Saturday morning. I need some 24" troughs to replace the ones that have all my bulbs in..

As for my toy. Well, I have it working but have to place it outside when I get a chance.

Anyway, it's a nest box with colour and Inra Red camera. I've wanted one for ages and finally taken the plunge. Trouble is, I hope I'm not too late to get any birds this year, but the RSPB have told me that it's not too early, because many birds started breeding early this year and could well have two or even three broods. Depends on what kind of summer we have.

OMG that sounds fantastic how bril of an idea is that :) u wont need a TV thats for sure if u getting birds in there ken :)

30 Apr, 2008

Well, the idea is to capture the video and then put it up on my website: http://kenstockley.com

Always something new and now it's chucking it down. Just because I want to nip around the corner to Asda

30 Apr, 2008

30 Apr, 2008

Yes and KwikSave. I also remember it as a timber yard and when the Jplly Fryer was a pub, The latherenders Arms.

I live just around the corner - 3 mins walk, or at the moment - soaking though there is a bit of bright sky coming up, so might make a dash for it I need some Optrex. My eyes are playing up today! Really ought to go to the doctors - one day!
