The sky immediately following a horrendous storm today.

I heard on the radio that thunderstorms were expected down south today - with a view to them being on the east coast of Scotland by tonight!!!!
I've given up enjoying my garden :(

Is that a missed window of opportunity? I have noticed a lot of these darker storm clouds passing over sunny clouds this year.
Its been awful here today wet, windy and very cold, even the cats fed up, goes out the back and comes in the front straight away.
