Squash Blossom

Do you have any squash developing, Bathgate?

Yes I do, Acorn Squash. Do you like them? I was going to post a picture, but thought they were too ugly, lol. I will post pics tomorrow. This is actually my aunt's garden. I was visiting her up in Stamford, Connecticut for a few days. She has the same problem as you with the deer. Squash blossoms seem to be their 1st choice so maybe she'll get some squash.

I do like Acorn. I can sympathize with your aunt...I cannot grow squash unless I "cage" it .

Squash are lovely sliced and roasted. We used to grow them when we lived down the road and had the space. The squash keep well when stored in a cool place.

I have a selection of different shapes and sizes growing up poles ,when I cut them down I'll take a photo ....

I bought a packet of mixed seed Paul different shapes and sizes I think some are Pattie Pans !
