The 5 year old loves to draw sunflowers. So,its on next years list of what to plant.

...a nice sunny spot and you should be able to manage some 12-15 footers, Stan! Resi has some great pics of the sunflower fields in France when she lived there. Wonderful plants and a good source of food... roasted sunflower seeds are delish and very portable. That's if the birds, chipmunks and squirrels don't get there first!
Is the 5-yr-old..an offspring or a grandchild? Growing some sunflowers will be a wonderful learning experience. Is the child's name Vincent? ;-)

one never knows... Mick Jagger's still at it! I think it's because he hasn't learned how good grandparenting can be...LOL. Now that I puzzle over it ...he's a great grandparent, isn't he? I lose track.
