Alocasia portodora - Elephant's Ears

Alocasia portodora - Elephant's Ears

This Elephant's ears is still a small plant. It will grow eventually up to 16 feet / 4.5 meters tall. This is posted for my GoY friend Lori. This photo was taken Sept. 2, 2008.

Lori:

As a potted plants Alocasia portodora would highly unlikely reach such heights. It would probably top out about 4 feet/ 1.2 meters tall with a
1 foot trunk.

I'm posting my small plant that I put in the ground last October, tonight. It is doing very well...as the sow bugs haven't eaten the tuber yet. LOL!
