If you buy three corms next spring by the end of next season you should have at least six corms to plant the season after that... I dig mine up in the fall. Perhaps you could leave them in the ground...they will multiply nicely.

I dug up the corms of the one you sent me Lori and you're right, they do make more pretty quickly! Looking forward to more beautiful flowers this year. Do you start yours indoors or put directly into the garden?

I put mine into the garden. but think that this year I will plant at least half of them in pots so that I can lift them and take them with me or gift them to my cousins and neices.

That's kind of my dilemma too. If we have to move is it better to have more things in pots than in the ground. When would you start them in pots?

I think I'd pot them up at the same time I would otherwise plant them in the garden... probably mid to late May..... or.... if I wanted to play with the bloom time I could plant them up a month earlier...? guess it will be decided next spring...lol.
