I am trying to grow plants such as palms, cordylines etc, but this year I've noticed that several of them are developing flower chutes. I think that these 'flowers' are not pretty and I want to remove them. Will this harm the parent plant?

You can remove the flowering parts with no hard to the Palm.

Yep, it will even make them grow more vigorously. The act of flowering may, however, cause Cordylines to branch.

How do I say thanks?
