I planted these about 5 months ago and the plants are quite young. They have been fine throughout the winter and have not had any problems. In the last couple of weeks the leaves are starting to turn brown. I've also noticed some white markings on the stems which looks kind of chaulky. Please help as I don't want to lose these plants. Kind Regards Simon

I think this plant is suffering from the winter weather. Cut out any completely brown shoots and the rest should re-sprout in Spring. The white markings could be woolly aphid, this is a fluffy greenfly. Rub them off with your fingers and if the problem continues use Provado Ultimate Bug Killer Spray.
