I AM IN NORTHERN MAINE, ACIDIC SOIL, WANT TO PLANT "CORONILLA" ON A HILL SIDE...WHAT DO YOU THINK? IT WILL BE USED TO COVER THE HILL AND HELP WITH SOIL EROSION/GROUND COVER?

Which particular variety of Coronilla do you mean? And I could be wrong, but doesn't Maine get cold winters? Most ornamental Coronilla are only listed as H4 in terms of hardiness for the UK, but Coronilla varia is hardy in USDA zones 3-7, though sensitive to cold when very small.
I just checked - USDA zone for Maine varies from 3 up to around 5.

If your soil pH is below 6.1, Jbn, you will probably need to add some limestone, since Crown Vetch can only take mildly acidic soils.

Crown vetch = Coronilla varia, common and proper name for the same plant.
