I have a plant which looks very much like a Persian/German Violet, but has velvety leaves (like an African Violet but much tinier, definitely not a shiny leaf). It flowers non stop, does not like to be too damp and grows on happily if split. Any ideas as to what it is?

Hi, there are miniature African violets, which are grown in pots no larger than 2 1/2 inches across, Derek.

Hi Marciaallan and welcome to GoY, a photograph would be a big help in identifying. Alternatively Google Persian Violet and take a look at the images, if your plant looks the same then that is what it is.
