I keep looking at this and from the characteristics of the stems and their branching habit plus the way the flowers are held and their form too....I'm sticking with Solanum. If not the species S. jasminoides, then another that you have in the USA.
I presume this is a climbing or at least scandent plant?

Looks like a Solanum. A little hard to tell for sure as a close up would help. Possibly Solanum jasminoides 'Album'
