Thanks in anticipation.

C. carpatica, yea, sadly. C. muralis is a much tidier grower...

Arene't carpatica flowers bigger than that? I thought perhaps poscharskskyana?

Yea, might be that one, Steragram - I know its awful, but the only one I look for, plant and recommend is C. muralis (now called C. portenschlagiana), so I tend not to think about which variety they might be other than the fact they're going to be untidy;-))

I think that is C.poscharskyana. I am something of an expert - it is ALL OVER my garden. (See my blog "Campanula"!) Apparently easy to dig up (ha, ha!).

Bamboo I didn't know those two were the same plant! Yes the posch. does sprawl around but there are a few places where that's ok - used it to cover an old stump once very efficiently. It does seed into the patio though.
And by the way, carpatica is beautiful...isn't it?

C. carpatica is the one with biggish flat bells.
