They don't grow well from cuttings. Named varieties are usually grafted onto seedling rootstock.

Aha! An elementary mistake on my part: I've just been cutting and pasting the address from the post, and the dot is missing from after the "www"! Oops!

There, that worked! So they use softwood cuttings! I'll have to try that.
