I bought two Cordyline Electra about three yrs ago one is flourishing but the other has flopped over, it isn't dead yet, and being new to these plants if possible I want to try and save it, I want to know if I can dig it up and put it in a large pot, it's now 20th March 2016, if I can what is the best compost to use, and what type of feeding regime should I choose, any advice welcome, and thanks in advance

I'm no expert but I'm surprised that they have lasted so long, unless they are in courtyard type environment. I would imagine that you would have to bring them into a conservatory or heated greenhouse in the winter. They come from SE Asia so I would say that they would be quite tender. As for potting up, I would suggest that you use a John Innes soil-based compost, No. 3 or a No. 2 mixed with a peat-based potting compost.

How do I say thanks?
