Here in the US, it's called a Western Red Ceder. They naturally grow from Northern California up to Southern Alaska and the Rocky Mountains and grow to 70 feet. I'm sure it would love a handful of bonemeal as a treat, but it would also do just fine without it.

it wont hurt to use it as it is slow release. I'd sprinkle a handful in/around the planting hole and another in the soil you'll be back filling.
now I have small hands so if yours are big then less.
remember to keep them well watered for several months.
