Nashi pear...hello everyone, I haven't been around at all this summer because of building work but I am now thinking about next year and would like to plant a Nashi pear in a container. Someone gave me some to try and I thought they were delicious.
Would they thrive in a large container? Since I am in the Czech Republic where the temps can go down to -20C occasionally I imagine it would need to be wrapped in the winter?
Or should I plant it in the ground which would also be possible though that would be at the back of the house and I would rather have it at the front.
