Is anyone going to one of the garden parties at Clarence House from 8th - 19th September? Prince Charles is opening his and the neighbouring properties' gardens to the public.

I will be there as part of the crew to help people make their own re-usable bags out of HRH's old curtains. I won't be there every day, and will probably be quite busy, but if you're going, let me know when & we might be able to put faces to names :-)

I might even get round to writing a blog about it afterwards, if I can take my camera in.

I'm expecting it to be frantically busy while the public are there, but as we normally get to events like this really early to sort out the sewing machines etc, I'm hoping to have a quick whizz round the gardens before it opens each morning I'm there.

You're obviously not a Telegraph reader Bamboo! :-) It's been carrying articles and ads for weeks. And it was on some morning TV programme yesterday. I posted a link to general info above in the question. The tickets are £15 each, so not cheap, and they're doing timed entry. This page gives info on tickets

I'll be there from Sunday 12th - Friday 17th. The day we have most people in the team helping members of the public to sew morsbags from Prince Charles' old curtains will be Monday 13th, so that's the day I'm most likely to get time off to skive.
