Is it too late in the year to prune Choisya Tenata Sundance?
It has put on a lot of new growth and looks lovely, but has spread and become a bit too big, encroaching on the hebe and other neighbouring plants. I don't want to lose it by pruning it at the wrong time. Many thank for any advise.

I've just trimmed mine back,as I do most years, when it's getting out of shape.so it won't do it any harm at all.

it doesn't seem to mind when you chop it. if its is encroaching other plants then it needs to be done.
