Does anyone know what this shrub is please ?
It is many years old. It grows about 2 - 3 ft tall and has tufts of tiny pink flowers in the summer, looses most of its leaves in winter.

Thanks but I don't think it can be a Spiraea because the leaves are rough and look something like the shape of a currant leaf.

is it woody Hywel? Can you take a photo of a close up of flower/cluster?
Don't recognise it at all.

That's good, it's nice when the garden centre staff actually know something about the plants they sell. It's a rare thing.
This shrub is nearly 40 yrs old and the place where I bought it is long gone.

Thanks Seaburn. Oh that's a shame Hywel. Now, there's an app, think it is called plantfinder, you take a pic and it comes up with suggestions. Am going to try with your pic, but not sure if it will work that way, fingers crossed.
