I ordered some garlic cloves but they have just arrived. I don't normally get them delivered as early as August. Has anyone planted their garlic around this time as I would have thought it too early. I know opinions differ, some growers saying plant as late as November but surely August is far too early.

They will only start to grow when they are ready. they are just a bulb and they should be fine.
