Identification please.
This shrub (?) is beginning to crowd everything around it. I don’t remember ever planting it - then again ai can’t remember much these days!! Don’t think it has any flowers at all. Has grown to about 4 ft high. Permission please to remove it!!!

Has nice red stems all through the winter which show up after the leaves have fallen. Cut back as hard as you want in Spring, to the ground if you wish. The red stems are only on the young growth. I have a red stemmed & a yellow stemmed variety. You could transplant it , but it looks like you want rid of it altogether!

Not certain, but it does look like one of the Cornus tribe. aka Dogwood.
