in my opinion i think it is better to plant a rose bush to semi shade and direct sun you get more flowers and will grow more

I have had two floribundas in a North facing border for the past few years, with Shrubs behind them. They grow very well, and very prolific flowering, all through the summer..I must admit they grow very tall, probably to reach the light, but never had a problem..but they are well fed and watered..

« Muscat grapes can these be grown in a pot outdoors or in a greenhouse?
They can be planted there but are unlikely to flower much.
There are a couple of climbers that will grow on a north wall but I don't know of any shrub or bush roses that would be happy in full shade.
