Weigela - again, I need to check for the variety...

Weigela.... but don't know exactly which one.

Can't find the variety of this - this mid pink colour is seen on Weigela florida variegata, but not so much on the plain leaved varieties, though it's possible they age to pink rather than remaining dark pink on opening, so I'm not sure of the variety either.

I have Weigela Ruby Red and this year it has done exactly what Bamboo has said. It has been deep wine red for years and suddenly this year it is pink , the same as my variegated Florida one.

How odd...

Could be Weigela 'Fairy' That is a mid pink one which is fairly widely planted.
