Jamine looks dead

United Kingdom
I bought a lot of jasmine plants (white) and thy looked healthy when I bought them, then after a few weeks when winter began they started to wilt and now look dead, I was wondering if this is normal an if they still might come out in summer
On plant
Jasminum arborescens

It could be that they are not a hardy type of Jasmine. The hardy white one for UK gardeners is Jasminum officinale.
