A challenge

I have been thinking that most of the photos that get displayed on the site by us are either pics. of individual plants in borders or just small sections.
So, in the spirit of ’I’ll show you mine if you’ll show me yours’ I think it would be interesting to see more photos of members’ gardens ‘in the round’ – warts and all – so that we viewers have more idea of how they are laid out and where different areas are in relation to one another.
I’m sure I’m not alone in loving to have a snoop around other people’s private spaces and would love to see some fresh perspectives (even ones taken from bedroom windows).
Any chance of more ‘guided tours’??

Well, I think we have an idea of the layout of some members' gardens but I can't visualise many others', Meadow. It's like on TV when they visit enthusiastic individuals' gardens rather than focussing on the odd plant or border. That is worth watching, I think.
We're all in this together, whether we are overjoyed with our plot or not! So I hope people who haven't done so will be brave and give us a tour of their gardens

I'm sure they will!

I have posted pictures from the windows before and I have shared my atrocity corner and borders prior to tidying. Si I'd love to see others. I can be alone in having untidy bits.

I'm sure you're not, Sgb. But you've posted your good bits, too!

Looks so picturesque in all its detail, Ange. I will definitely think about it! It’s so ‘bijou’ here. Blink and you’d miss it! 😂

Its really lovely Ange. The secret must be to decide what you're going to do and then do it, which you have brilliantly! The bench just finishes it off - so elegant!
(Not like me who does things on the spur of the moment and randomly, having no talent for advance planning whatsoever! Just love the plants)
Now Meadowland's blog of untidy places was more the sort of thing I could take part in...

Thanks, both for your kind comments.
Come on, don't be 'shy and retiring violets' ;-)

Good idea, if one can get far enough back to take a "vista".

This is a very lovely garden. Enough space to play frisbee or practice golf too :-).

Not many takers,Ange!

Oh well, Meadow, I tried. It was just a suggestion, but if the idea is unpopular I'm not sure why but will live with it!

Thanks, Klahanie, it's still being tweaked. Latest idea is a rounded lawn to make space for a few more trees and shrubs. We shall see!

Hello, Paul, nice to catch up. Thanks for your kind words. I'm sure people are bored with pics of my garden, that's why I thought it might be fun to look at other people's.

don't think so - like to see your photos as many others sure do

Only just come across this … another of your good ideas Ange. I will definitely get the camera out tomorrow and do my best to get some wider views 🙂.

You must have read my mind Ange...I was too timid to suggest it..Well done...so much more interesting warts and all.Sometimes the single plant shots can become a little samey.A couple of years ago I did a blog asking members to show those neglected areas.
