In my long border at least..
I was amazed to see one of my Photinia’Red Robin’s in full flower this week..I had no idea they even had flowers!
White Potentilla in front, with my neighbours Choisya Ternata to the right…
Some of you may remember my poor butchered Choisya Sundance, from a few years ago…all is forgiven it seems,,as it has rewarded me with lots of lovely flowers this year, and healthy growth…Lol. ..
Hope you are all enjoying your gardens,in this lovely weather..xx

Sorry yours isn't too good just now Karen..It's a shame they are so susceptible to cold and frost, and mine was hit too,but only the odd leaf or two this year...luckily,they do seem to recover .I'm sure it will be looking better already, with the dead stuff removed :o)

Thank you Lindak..I have risked planting a few overwintered Pelargoniums,as they seem quite sturdy..but other summer bedding is back in the cold frame at night..maybe next week..if I can wait that long !

I've seen quite a few in flower this year Sandra and like you I had no idea they flowered. The long boarder looks really well established. i'm hoping to plant my baskets etc out this week. Let's hope this weather lasts, just the right temperature for gardening.

Sorry for not replying sooner to all your kind comments, but my laptop has been playing up for a little while, and hopefully the nice Techy Doctor has made it better, although,I'm struggling to get to grips with Google Chrome now, which he installed ! hey ho :o( At least I've made progress,by finding you all again :o)It seems like lots have had flowers this year too...I have had this one approx. 5/6 years, and it's never been pruned..It's only had some tips nipped out to promote new red growth..I may have to prune it next year..thank you all once again..nice to be back :o) x

Sandra, it's great to see the Photinias in flower, something I have not really noticed before. My neighbour has a couple against our boundary fence and the white flowers are gorgeous. Glad your computer is up and running again. Thanks for the PM, hope to reply soon ... :o)

My Choisya sundance is dreadful. The last few weeks of cold really hit it. Yesterday I cut off all the dead material and hopefully it will recover like yours has.
