You have so many wild friends to enjoy! Sometimes we see Red Legged Partridges here in March, but only when it's extremely cold and snowy. Haven't seen them this year, but they are my favourites. Also, a flock of Curlew came in to the field behind us last late winter...but again, not this year. Sadly the field is lying fallow at the moment because of the bad weather, so there's nothing in there to attract anything bar a few desolate crows looking for worms.

Some good shots there - it must have taken you ages! Hard to choose but I think my favourites are the butterfly, the bees and the spider. You are lucky to have a hedgehog. We never see one round here. Have you got a favourite among these pictures?

Hello Karen . haven't seen as much lately , just the robin and two blackbirds building their nests. We sometimes get a reed warbler. We never get finches anymore . I like to build brick bughouses and everything like that . Will google up Red Legged Partridges . We have pheasants in Loughborough area about 5 miles from us

That's good isn't it. Some species are becoming rare and I think we should try to encourage them into our gardens to help them survive.

Fantastic photos and wildlife in your garden. You can keep the Heron, we have those sometimes, perching on a Leylandii just like yours! The Sparrowhawk has been again today, saw her fly in and the pigeons take off en-masse. She is such a beautiful bird I forgive her for the odd small bird and she usually thins out the scores of pigeons and collared doves we have. I haven't seen the hedgehog this year yet, hopefully they will have made it through the winter.

Thank you Dottydaisy. Indeed yes awful times . Our work times have been cut because of it. Thankfully money been spent already except bedding that is. I used to be afraid of spiders , a little better now, if I know where they are lol
