Stay Safe

To the NHS that helps us through,
and all the shops that get food for you,
police and medics that keep us safe ,
stop the spread by creating space,
if we buy less it helps the rest to make our lives the feasible best ,
so keep your contact by your phone
and beat this virus and stay at home

All the best everyone :-)

Beautiful blog, Paul....
I’ve been ringing and checking in with my patient’s..it’s hard not being able to pop in. Following guidelines, only urgent, necessitated visits.
Keep well everyone x

My wife & I have self-isolated for a fortnight now! Yet we still have another 3 months to go according to the Government!

I read today that Boris Johnson & the Health minister, Tony Hancock, have both tested positive for Corvid-19! Both are self-isolating & working from home!

What a wonderful, sunny week we have had this week! Shame for the children who can't go out & play with their friends due to the coronavirus! :(

Yes indeed . The weather has been so gorgeous, luckily it's pretty quiet in our road so I spent it in back garden , front I will not dare as people walk by . I have no work until at least April 13th - which is day before my bday , then I have a week off holiday lol

same here, apparently seeing my own girlfriend has not gone down well . Spent all time in garden and house

Lovely words, we're on our second week of isolation for health and age reason's our daughter is working from home as unfortunately she comes under the at risk criteria, had to venture out last week for essentials, which thanks to the rationing coming into place meant I was able to get most things on my list, the previous week was an absolute nightmare because of selfish, greedy people panicking and not thinking of others....Stay safe Fernever...

Thank you Lincslass and you also and all your family. It's terrible isn't it ! I face no work for at least 3 weeks , the jewellery line we are in has no trade . Our holiday has cancelled which is sad , looking forward to that

Paul that rose is perfection!

Sending sympathy to you all! Its been said many times already but thank goodness for our gardens!
Except I've had a bad chest for 2 weeks and daren't go outside which is very frustrating! Not bored or fed up though as life is usually quiet here. Only other grouse is I have read all my many books, most of them twice...
Lots of seedlings are waiting to pricked out but they will have to wait a little longer!

Thank you Steragram

Thankyou Fernever, being retired our money keeps coming but I really feel for the younger ones, especially the self- employed, ones that have had their hours cut, its such a worrying time and I'm afraid will continue even when we get some semblance of normallity back into our lives, recouping our losses as a country will take a long time, however we've done it before and will again, staying healthy and saving lives is priority number one.....

Stera I'm sorry to see you are under the weather, I've been having a terrible time with my asthma which has also affected my chest, its been such a wet winter, hoping to improve down....Stay warm, seedlings might go a bit leggy but they'll soon recover....

So many people are starting to ignore the rules now too . Party last week right around corner , but did only last 15 minutes

It’s a worry, isn’t it. More and more people out and about. I was cycling this lunchtime, my daily exercise allowance - although I did garden for a few hours - there were more people out I noticed. Also, the supermarket seemed busier this week, more traffic too, definitely a big increase in traffic..

yes Kate it is getting like people are just gradually taking less seriously as time goes on despite 20 plus thousand deaths

My OH does our weekly shop - just asked if he had noticed more folk out and about and he said not. We have police out on the main roads round here stopping folk trying to get to their second homes, and the odd few selfish folk who think staying at home needn't apply to them. If we all ignored the rules where would we be?

Since lockdown started I have only seen one family out in their front garden one friend who came to dig some snowdrops from our front garden, the postman, and two men doing their gardens. Oh and the refuse collectors, bless them!We do get regular visits from a neighbouring Siamese cat though!
I remember what it was like living alone in a rather grotty upstairs flat and imagine what lockdown would be there. We have a great deal to be thankful for don't we?

certainly nice having a garden yes . A lot of people have been starting to get fed up and mixing , drives me mad . Also queues are getting within inches rather than feet , Fair enough they want to but please don't hound me
