deciduous self clinging climber. dark green leaves with silvery white veining. Red new growth. Turns bright red before falling in autumn. 12 feet in 10 years. Height can be restricted by pruning. Any soil, any aspect.
Bought two to cover fence where hedge is sparse behind garden pod.
In feb. trim growth to the area you want to cover. Trim back by 10m to encourage more branches. Remove dead or inverting growth.
