Impatiens omeiana

An easy, hardy species with spreading patches of short stems with olive leaves veined pale yellow. Delightful goldfish-like amber flowers in late summer and autumn. Good soil in shade, not too dry. 30cm.

This is the original, "ordinary" form of this species, there have been many other forms introduced since but this one has been grown for many years and proved to be very hardy and quite easy as long as it doesn't dry out in summer.

Two in a square pot. April 2019. Plantsman’s preference.
