Sedum takesimense 'Atlantis'

Awarded RHS Chelsea Plant of the Year 2019 - and its easy to see why this caught the judges eyes! Fleshy, moss green leaves with delicate serrated edges, boast a contrasting creamy-yellow border which stays vibrant from summer through to autumn. The pale yellow blooms emerge from pink flower buds, while new foliage bursts from cherry-red leaf buds.

Without doubt, Sedum takesimense 'Atlantis' creates a dazzling display. With it's dense, low growing habit, and excellent drought tolerance, it makes superb ground cover in rockeries and gravel gardens, where it positively thrives in hot, sunny conditions (although it will happily tolerate partial shade). This spreading hardy perennial forms a broad cushion of colourful foliage with maturity, attracting a constant buzz of pollinating insects and butterflies. Height: 15cm (6"). Spread: 45cm (18")
