I was up Deeside the other day and the hedges there were just like that....it is wonderful how they manage to cling on to their leaves so much longer than any other tree/hedge etc....fairly lights up a roadway too.

~ we have a beech wood at the end of the street and the leaves are a thick carpet now!the changing colours are beautiful this time of year!
