Aww isnt that nice of him;0) I over wintered my begonias in the utility room last year and they all survived and never stopped flowering, Im going to do the same this year;0)

Could i over winter my begonias in a "plastic greenhouse" P.P or wouldn't that be warm enough, haven't got a utility room, save me buying new plants. Never thought of keeping over winter( I'm talking summer bedding begonias):o)

Not sure they would come through the winter if its anything like last year, but you have nothing to lose wrap the pots in double fleece to give some protection, or better sill have you not a an indoor window sill, even if it only one plant you could then divide it in spring;0)

I potted a couple up last week,Gralew..hoping to do the same..but I have been inundated with little black flies..not just in the Conservatory, but they found their way into the lounge and kitchen.. a nightmare.!.I don't know if they were in the compost I potted them up in,or on the plants..but I sprayed them..and still had some today..so I've binned them :o(..I have fuchsia cuttings in there, and found some on the pots inside the ceramic planters....probably they wouldn't have done any harm, but got fed up of thinking I was seeing spots before my eyes ! Lol.

I hate those horrible little things get everywhere :(
hope they've not ruined your fuchsia cuttings

Little beasties aren't they? and so annoying ! The Fuchsia cuttings are fine,Gralew..I think I managed to kill the ones which were on them..will check again tomorrow..I need to pot them on,so a bit worried in case they are in the compost bag..I might wait, and get some new ,..and throw the old on the borders..after seeing the frost that's forecast, they will soon get killed off ! Lol.
