Gladiolus on balcony 12th August 2010

This Gladiolus is looking really good at the moment. I have some more on the balcony & they are all white. I planted them some years ago & they come up every year. They are left in situ all year round with no particular protection.

Well not pots exactly more like troughs which is what this one is planted in.

Thats good to know, I don't have much garden space and never thought of putting them anywhere else but in the ground.

These white Glads are always so welcome, they tone down a bit some of my displays that are often "fiery"! I've still got a few more to come into flower.
Down on the allotment we have many in flower! you can see them in my last couple of blogs on the allotment. I took a new photo just today.
I may include it in my next fortnightly instalment of the allotment.
