I planted it as a 5 gallon. We bought two at a local nursery about 5 weeks ago. I don't know how old they were. They were some of the last left and didn't look anything special and had no buds formed or bloomed yet. We planted them a couple days later in the native soil mixed with some high quality soil from a local landscape materials supplier by the yard. We have fed them twice and they get water daily (rain). Last week they really bloomed well and look amazing. This one is a little ahead of the other but both are blooming. They have grown almost a foot and filled in quite a bit. We are very pleased we chose them. They are pink velour crape myrtle shrubs.

Thanks for your note. You are really taking care of them and they are rewarding you. It is beautiful.

How old is your plant Shane? I have one about this size but it has never bloomed.
