this side of the house was just concrete so i did it with the decking squares i made and pebbles to match the patio

I really like what you've done here and it's definately given me an idea on what I could perhaps do with a badly concreted strip leading to the main entrance of my bungalow. There's a sizeable drain cover midway along but a large decking square could hide that while still allowing easy access to the drain if required. The decking squares would also provide a more stable walking surface for when my elderly dad comes to visit. Cracking job!

i made the squares myself to be sure they where nice n strong and it worked out a bit cheaper. they do sell 1m squred ones in homebase for £15 each but they are not as thick as mine. i have used those under my daughters play house and sand pit also in my pics.
its an easy cover up job tho i used the same thing on an old red and white patio area just laid some black weed netting first then staright over the top
