Hydrangea seemanii - 2016

Self clinging, evergreen climber for moist soil in sun or part shade. Slow to establish, then shoots up to thirty feet (given the chance). The unopened flower buds look like small cauliflowers.

Mine took several years to get going - it just sat there and I had almost forgotten about it and suddenly it took off. Hydrangea petiolaris is the same.

Oh right..... that's good to hear.... because we have both those plants, and no flowers.
