Salvia "Cherry Lips" (Salvia greggii (Autumn sage))

Flowering again. It struggled a bit during the summer heat, hopefully it'll settle in and do well next year.

Pretty. I have Amethyst Lips and am hoping it will get through, too. Only planted out a few weeks ago, mad fool that I am..

Thank you Ange and Paul. I bought this before the summer really starting heating up, Ange. OH isn't impressed so fat, says its too spindly. Hopefully it'll bush out more.

Mine are all scrawny so I'm not sure they'll be reprieved if they don't buck up next year, Kate. We shall see!

Sounds a plan! I'm not a fan of sprawling spindly plants either!

I gave 'Hot Lips' a severe cutback a few weeks ago and it has rewarded me with a second flush of flowers. I think 'Cherry Lips' is much more subtle though ...

What else?

See who else is growing Salvia greggii (Autumn sage).

See who else has plants in genus Salvia.
