You have some lovely plants. I will have to try the coffee as I don't like using pellets. :-).

What a gorgeous display of blooms and lovely plants you have! I really like your primulas amd saw on Chelsea flower show last night a chap from Durham growing some fantastic ones. Do you keep them constantly watered in this dry weather in their container?

Thank you Jen, I noticed last night, a few nibbles on them. Theve lasted ages before the first attack...lol.im going to have a good look for the culprits tonight and sprinkle some cheap coffee round them.
Thankyou Amsterdam, I have been watching Chelsea too and saw the Primulas. We built a corner bed on the 'shore' of the pond extending a little way into the shallows. I layed an old cotton rug on the bottom to act as a wick to keep the soil moist. It seems to be working. It was the only way to enable me to grow a few moisture loving plants.
Brian that is a lovely comment, Thankyou very much.

Thankyou Callie. I hope the coffee works for you.

3d, Thankyou. The last one is a really beautiful rhododendron from Brian two or three years ago.

Karen Thankyou. It's been so nice to spend all day for the last 3 days up in the garden room and just enjoying the warmth. We had a cracking thunderstorm this afternoon at my daughters near Goole in east Yorkshire. Son in law was in charge of the barbeque. He's a determined lad and when the sky threatened he moved the Barbie into the garage and carried on...:o) He was quite happy in there listening to the cricket. ( and that's where the beer is stored. lol)
Sbg Thankyou, everything seems so much bigger this year up to now. It must be the soil moisture.

Thank you for the garden tour HB. It looks wonderful. So many colours emerging now, and yes the grass is growing fast. We hardly got any rain yesterday but the wind was awful.

Lovely tour of your garden. Wish it would rain here, preferably at night, it always seems to miss the S east.

Thanks everyone. This awful wind and the amount of rain isn't doing the garden any favours. It's really taking a battering.
The wall decoration is the one I bought in a charity shop for a fiver Stera. :o)
