Anyone would think I was mad about PINK.

Although I haven’t purposefully chosen mainly pink flowering plants, to look at my garden today, you would be forgiven for thinking I had. There is an awful lot of pink about!!
See what I mean…..

Oh yes, I nearly forgot the planters on the garage roof!!
The 4 troughs planted up with cuttings from last years geraniums. :o)

The painted troughs are very attractive....pink geraniums go well with the blue.I especially like the arch and trellis too.

Pink is the perfect colour in a garden 🙂.

It's interesting how the garden has its own "colour waves", often because we are drawn to particular shades without realising it. Mine has just gone through a yellow phase, and although yellow is always with me throughout the seasons, now I notice we have much more red and pink. (With me, the 'jury is out' over a lot of my pink! Particularly the lilacy shades and the screaming pinks.) I love the lighter pinks and damsons.
Your garden is a delight and you must be very proud of it. A testament to a lot of hard work! Beautiful foxgloves and beautiful rose, particularly. A great selection of plants.

Made me smile as I used to get told off for having too much yellow, especially in the springtime, it wasn't done on purpose, then last year I realised I hardly had any so now reintroducing again, lol...
It looks grand to me H'bird and your pink is spread around, nothing is in your face if you know what I mean., some would say mine has no rhyme nor reason as it's all mingles, now that is my choice and I love it....
Lovely blog and photographs...

I too love the colour pink and find myself choosing pink flowers more often than not!
The pink rose near your greenhouse is beautiful and your use of blue pots sets the pink flowers off so well.

Funny isn't it, we don't plan certain colours but somehow a theme seems to develop? I love your pink, it looks so feminine. I have ended up with lots of purple, but certainly NOT planned. :-)

I think there can also be a bit of snobbery about certain colours in the garden, especially in the more 'refined' press. I think we should all just love what we love and be willing to change our minds every so often. "One man's meat" and all that. No-one will ever turn me off yellow and orange! (Although I don't want a whole garden-full...)

I have a thing about blue in the garden. I like white too and pink for that matter. Did I mention I like yellow too?

Thanks for liking my garden everyone. I don’t really care if anyone thinks it’s not ‘In fashion’. It gives me a heck of a lot of pleasure. Any colour is most welcome. I’m with you Linda but did you forget to mention red?

You have a lovely garden Homebird ! I love the way it has two levels too !
I seem to go for bright colours in the perennial borders but I also love all colours and I know what you mean as my garden gives me a lot of pleasure too and haven't minded one bit about having to stay home !

Its lovely - very cheering. I went through a blue period a while back.So much depends on what grows near a plant though doesn't it? Yours have plenty of attractive green round them. to set them off. I do like that Pelargonium with the silver edges to the leaves.

Stera, that is the one I took all the cuttings from for the troughs on the roof. I really was surprised how many cuttings rooted.
Thanks Rose, Kidsgran and Thruppence. It’s teaming down with rain here. Has been every minute of the day so far.
