A card for Congratulations :)

I made this card for my next-door neighbours, to congratulate them on the birth of their little boy last week.
I painted the picture on A3 paper and reduced its size on my computer, then superimposed it on the blue background and finally printed it out.
Unfortunately the scanned card for this thread has come out a bit blotchy and blurred but the actual card looks as it should :)
Here’s the Teddy on his own …

Thanks for your comments.
My neighbours were so pleased with the card that I gave them the original painting of the bear and they're thrilled with it, They're going to buy a frame for it and put it in the little boy's bedroom :)

Hywel I am not at all surprised they are going to frame your painting, it will be treasured by them. It was such a lovely card you created.

That’s really lovely Hywel … a gorgeous little painting, and it’s so impressive that you could be “techy” with it too. No surprise that your neighbours are thrilled!

Hywel that is really lovely and to my mind means so much more because its all your own work, anyone can go out and buy a card which are always nice to receive but you took the time to do both the painting and then the card, I 'm not surprised that thy are pleased to accept the painting, its a lovely keepsake, a memento to treasure..

You are a man of many talents, Hywel! I couldn't have painted anything like that! You went to a lot of trouble with making the card - they must be very pleased, with the card & even more with the original painting you gave to them! Congratulations to the parents & to you! 👏 👏 👏

Such a lovely card, Hywel! It's a special one indeed. Always appreciated when it's handmade and much work has gone in to it. It's such a thoughtful idea to give them the original too, they must have been over the moon!
