Winter walk

at Anglesey Abbey gardens. Went for a school trip this week - took plenty of pictures I want to share them with you so will try:) to prepare a little blog - but have plenty of work for my course - so It may take a time - pictures are to big have to change their size, choose few from so many - but will try to do it as soon as possible:)
And in the pictures - red stems of Cornus alba behind it Rubus thibetanus 'Silver Fern' some sarcococca in front of Cornus. To the left of the path - Sarcococca, Rubus. Yellowish twigs are of Acer 'Senkaki'. Trees at the far end - Prunus serrula.

what a great school trip..i just love all the structure in the plants at this time of year. the cornus just glows on a sunny day..;-))
