The Jacaranda trees started blooming the beginning of April...however, they will be in all their glory in May...when the whole city of San Diego, CA. will turn purple/blue with the millions of trees planted here. Photo taken May 1, 2010.

Thanks for the very nice comment! I'm really not pleased with this photo it's too washed out looking. I'll be getting better photos soon when my 50 foot tree blooms.
