These are as near to instant orchid gratification as I've found - about a month from potting the pseudobulb to a flower!!

I tried buying some on line a month or so ago but I was out-bid...
Will give it another try.

A lot of the cool-growing orchids do well in CA in winter. Most orchids bloom in winter in San Diego and most of the time it's cool enough for cool-growing orchids and warm enough for many of the tropical orchids, also. We're pretty lucky! :>)
