Chilean Glory Flower

Chilean Glory Flower (Eccremocarpus scaber (Chilean glory flower))

First blooms of the year and we're only just into April!
Eccromocarpus scaber is hardier than it's reputation gives it credit for, and was evergreen throughout the last hard winter.

Oh Meanie ... I've got a tray of these growing in the greenhouse .. they are only about 1/2 an inch tall, at this rate they won't be in flower until the end of summer ...LOL... it's nice to see what they should look like though ....

It's one of my favourite climbers (the orange form) Sticki.
Amy - enjoy them whilst they're that size, 'cos they won't stay like it for long!! A tray - one plant after a couple of years will be huge!!!
