Salvia patens tubers for Bjs (Salvia patens (Sage))

I've lifted a couple of my Salvia today to store the tubers for the winter.

Thanks for that intresting photos, will direct Valadel and Lulu to these as they were both wondering if they should lift them.

No probs - opinion seems a little divided on the lift or not issue, but as mine always die anyway it seems a no brainer........

We never lift ours Meanie they usually survive plus I collect the seed and grow more in the spring just in case the winter is so severe that they don't make it , they grow easily from seed ... I didn't realise the tubers were that long ....... they are one of my favourite plants I have them dotted about everywhere ...

I grow S.patens from seed too Amy. But as they never survive for me I figured that I would give the tubers a shot.
